The Torch Mission

Torch Theater’s mission is simply this: super-accessible, quality theater. This means that we hope to include ASL performers in each performance of every production, that we are dedicated to providing a theatrical experience for the Blind and Deaf-Blind communities by providing audio description, tactile tours and Braille programs, and that we consistently strive to make theater more and more accessible to people with physical and financial challenges. We also hope too make theater inclusive enough to inspire those with simpler challenges, like a general fear of, or distaste for, the uppity world they see as theater.
